HM Revenue & Customs - GOV.UK Scam

On the 13th march 2020 7:30am  I got a call from this number 020 02653607 London UK

The call started off as a recording saying that they was from the
HMRC =
HM Revenue & Customs - GOV.UK
This is NOT true they would never call you.

The recording said that I had not paid my tax for working for the years 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 and there is a court order out for my arrest and to press 1 to talk to some one to pay this off and talk to some one.

What I did.

I pressed 1 and got put through to a guy who called him self Tim James   When dose anyone have two first names  ? lol
The second thing i noticed he was not English he was Indian with really bad English
The first thing he asked me was my name and date of birth.

My reply to this was if you called me you would know my name and date of birth so you tell me who you are talking to.

he said under data protection act 1987 he can not say I had to tell him

I then said oh ok so I made up a name called Dave Daves lol and date of birth 13th of march 1910 this makes me now 109 years old. "And my Birthday today"

One I don't look or sound over 100 years old and if I was 109 I would not be paying tax by working I would be to old I would be getting a old age pension from  the state.

He then told me I owed £26.956.44p tax and a police man was coming to my address to arrest me and take me to court in the next 45 min's

I then said how can I stop me going to prison he said pay this now or there will be no stopping this.

I then said do you know who you are really talking to he said yes I then asked him who and the reply was Dave Daves.

I said No you are really talking to PC 19832 James from the London police department he then hung up I Did try and call back but he blocked my number.  The funny thing to this is I have still not be arrested for not paying my Tax
